I know that I am in no position to comment on the issue but my friend's being rudely harassed by someone who defines RESPECT as something you just give.
Well of course, it's not that simple. Yes, the definition is already in that context but it lacks the essence why we need to give it in the first place. Then let me redefine RESPECT in my own context.
RESPECT is something you give, not something you are asked of yet be sure that you're RESPECT is given to someone worthy of it or else, you're just giving RESPECT a mediocre sense of existence.
Okay, I sound so harsh but I do have a point here. Sometimes people just need that FACE slap to wake them from their delusion, a delusion that makes them unaware of the levity of what they ask. It's not easy to give respect because we have certain criteria of giving it and others don't consider the factors that also contribute to the DISRESPECT they deserve. It's easier to give the latter because you just have to mess yourself up in front of people to be disrespected. RIGHT? It's just like self-mutilation just without the self-mutilating part. Well, you risk in mutilating you're PSYCHE and that's much more harmful and MUCH MUCH MORE STUPID.
SO, to those who STRONGLY demand the "above-mentioned", be sure that YOU'RE all worth it. Be careful who you're messing with, you're messing with God and He has no place for those who seek complexity with simple things and those who want WAR instead of peace. YOU know yourself B****, careful.
